Currency Exchange ("the app") converts amounts between world currencies using public exchange-rate data. This policy explains what information the app handles. We do not require an account and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location.
The app saves your preferences (selected currencies, last amount, favorite currencies, theme and language) and the most recent exchange rates so the app works offline. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us.
To show exchange rates the app requests public data from open.er-api.com (ExchangeRate-API), api.frankfurter.dev (European Central Bank reference rates) and, as a fallback, cdn.jsdelivr.net. These requests contain no personal data from the app, but, as with any internet request, the provider can see your IP address.
The app shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use device identifiers such as the advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, and ad interaction data to deliver and measure ads and to prevent fraud. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and other regions where required, the app asks for your consent before personalised advertising is used (Google User Messaging Platform) and you can change your choice at any time in your device settings. The app is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We do not sell personal data. The only third parties involved are the rate providers and Google AdMob described above. We keep no user data on our own servers.
Exchange rates are indicative and may differ from rates offered by banks or money-transfer services. Do not rely on them for financial decisions without verification.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
